POM polyacetal is a kind of high crystal thermal plasticity plastic, because of its good rigidity, also known as plastic steel (plastic steel/steel), suitable for punch milling machine, processing deformation and other advantages.
Features: High mechanical strength, high rigidity, impact resistance, high sliding and wear resistance, easy property stability, high dimensional stability
Uses: Regulating wheel, mechanical bearing, electronic parts and so on
POM-C and POM-H are copolymerized grade and homopolymer formaldehyde machined profiles
Pom-c is a formaldehyde-processed profile. POM copolymer has low melting point, thermal stability, chemical corrosion resistance, flow characteristics, hydrolysis resistance, strong alkali resistance and thermal oxidation degradation, and its processing performance is better than homo-formaldehyde-copolymer.
POM-H homopaformaldehyde material, made from DuPont™ white Delrin® material, it has excellent sliding properties and good wear resistance. Compared with PLOM-C, PLOM-H material has higher density, hardness and strength due to its higher crystallinity.
Commonly said homopolyformaldehyde refers to DuPont‘s Delrin®.
Because of the high crystallinity of homopolymer molecular structure, its strength characteristics, elasticity, impact strength and melting point are better than those of co-formaldehyde.
General polyformaldehyde refers to the copolymer of polyformaldehyde.
Because of the carbon - carbon combination in the molecular structure of coformaldehyde, it has high stability.
Because of its high stability, compared with homopolyformaldehyde, it is difficult to degrade and deteriorate the material.
Therefore, from the use of time, the decline of the physical properties of co-formaldehyde than homopolymer to be small.
